You need Invisible to avoid Goblin aggro, but you can't select anything while in this state so do not put Final Fantasy XIV Gil up (if any Goblins are nearby, avoid going in their line of sight).

Cast or use an item which gives you the Sneak status and run down the mountain. The Kraken will not attack you for as long as Sneak is in effect. Touch the selectable flower down there.

If nothing happens then it is not night, go back up the cliff and waits until it is. If you have done it at night you will be given a cut scene–read this little scene quite fast, as if Sneak disappears while you are in it you will be attacked once it is over.

With the flower collected, return to Dietmund's home in Lower Jeuno to hand over them over. He will say that he will treat his son immediately. Your next step while the treatment is going on is to go to Upper Jeuno Chocobo Stables and speak with Brutus at (G-7).

You will be rewarded for your actions with the ability to become a Beast master, but it isn't over yet. There is an additional reward to be had from this Quest.
