Cyclops is worth about 250-350 XP, so pick FFXIV Gil a spot, and start hacking away. With a defense rate of about 190, the cyclops won't really be ably to hurt you (about 5 damage, and you'll get it all back when you kill it). Cyclops also drop some neat stuff (armour, weapons, pendants, JEWELS), and they respawn quickly.

The one flaw is that you'll find a LOT of KSers in the dungeon. Don't get too stubborn holding onto one spot... there's LOTS of cyclops, and you can simply move on to kill others.

Towards the exit of D1, there are spots with Cyclops and larva... avoid those, as the larva, though technically easier (lower level, less HP), can poison you, so they're a worse monster to face.

Useful commands to know:

"I": Open your inventory

"C": See your stats, character info

"P": See your part info (coordinates of party members, hit points, names)

ENTER: To chat 

ENTER, then "~": To talk only to people in your party

ENTER, then TAB, then person's name, then SHIFT+TAB: To private message (PM) someone.

ALT: Displays all items in your field of view. If you click on an item while holding ALT, you can pick it up even if someone else is standing on it (very useful in parties!)
